September Photography Contest

Top 13 go on to be made into a 2011 calendar and postcards 

to be sold with the permission of the artist and Witter Gallery

                The Witter Gallery is now accepting entries for  

      "The Beauty of Buena Vista County" Photo Contest

                Both professional and amatuer will be accepted

Rules

Entries must be original photographs, taken by the entrant

8x10 inches in size Photos are to be “loose” no matting or framing

Photos must be taken in Buena Vista County

Entries must be suitable for display, no bends, folds, wrinkles, curls or smears

Please label all photos on back with title name, phone number and address and age

Entries can be rejected for any reason

Each entrant can register 1 or 2 photographs

Black and White/Color photography will be accepted

Judging, gallery talk and reception for the 

artists will be held on 

Saturday   September 11   

The top 3 places will be announced at 

11:30 am

Cash awards will be given for: 

              Adult Division 17 and up

1^st   place $50.00

2^nd place $30.00

3^rd   place $20.00

Cash awards will be given for:

Youth Division 16 and under

1^st   place $25.00

2^nd place $15.00

3^rd   place $10.00

Entry forms can be picked up at the Witter Gallery

Entries must be delivered to the Witter Gallery

August 25-31

Photos will be on display 

September 2-28

Photos must be picked up 

September 29-30 October 1-2
