Welcome to the Witter Gallery Youth Classes.
Click on the youth icon to see our current youth classes we are offering to children ages 2-6 and 7-12.
Class size is limited to 25 students, so please call the
Witter Gallery as soon as possible to reserve your
students seat in class.
The younger artists, ages 2-6, we ask the parents to stay and learn along side them for the brief time they are at the Witter Gallery. Please use this time to interact and bond with your child, this is something both you and the child will remember forever.
Volunteers Needed:
The Witter Gallery always needs volunteers. We are looking for dependable people willing to come in on a regular basis whether that be once a week or once a month or every day. Volunteers are needed to teach, to help teachers with young children’s' classes, to sell in the shop, and to take on secretary or receptionist duties.
The most important task of the volunteer is to be
present in the gallery when it is open.
This makes it possible for the director to concentrate on long tasks or leave for meetings and know that there is someone in the studio to greet people and take their questions. A volunteer notebook holds all the information the volunteer is likely to need to know to answer questions or take messages. It also makes it possible for teachers to pay full attention to their students and not have to answer the phone or stop to answer questions of those who drop in.
The director is in the gallery from 1:00 until 5 pm Tuesday-Wednesday, Friday Thursday 1:00-6:00 pm and 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays. We don't have much in the way of evening hours yet.
